Catalysts for automatic recognition: ENIC-NARIC centres providing national guidance through improved AR regimes
NufficAchieving mutual automatic recognition of access and higher education qualifications from European Union and European Higher Education Area (EHEA) countries, is a priority in the creation of the European Education Area by 2025, as well as a long-term objective for the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). This report presents the findings of a series of measures to improve fair and automatic recognition in a set of 11 ENIC-NARIC centres. In doing so it aims to inform ENIC-NARICs and national and European policy makers about good practice supporting automatic recognition. The report also aims to contribute to a wider discussion on how to achieve automatic recognition.

on all aspects of the recognition of foreign qualifications
and aims to provide the credential evaluators from the
European National Information Centres network and National
Academic Recognition and Information Centres network
(ENIC-NARIC Networks) with a practical tool to assist them in their
daily recognition work. -

Nic Mitchell: Global HE recognition convention parties get to work
University World NewsA major step towards achieving greater equity in student mobility was taken earlier this month when the first 22 countries ratifying UNESCO’s Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education met with other international higher education stakeholders for a conference of the parties (COP1) to take forward the initiative aimed at worldwide mutual recognition of qualifications. This article outlines what the COP1 achieved and which further steps lie ahead.
